The Big Sing 2024
Pupils from Year 3 had a fantastic time at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, in Newcastle on 3rd July 2024. The class went along with Mrs Dale and Mrs Bennett to sing with hundreds of other pupils from schools across the North East. They had spent time in music lessons learning a wide repertoire of songs based on the theme of STEM (Science, technology, engineering and maths).
It was such an exciting event which involved singing with an impressive live band within the largest concert hall in the building. We also met the 'Street Scientists' from Newcastle University who shared some super scientific experiments with us.
This brilliant event was organised by the organisation, Sing Up. Seaton Sluice First School is proud to be a Sing Up Platinum School.
