New statutory guidance in England (under Benedict's Law) requires all schools to implement a whole school allergy policy and to provide compulsory allergy awareness training for every member of staff. We are also required to stock two spare emergency adrenaline auto-injectors (AIIs) and ensure all pupils who have allergies also have their own Individual Healthcare Plan. Full details of this new policy will be reviewed by Governors and available on the website under 'policies' at the start of term (in September 2026).
