At Seaton Sluice First School, we are proud to be an OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) school. OPAL is a nationally recognised programme that helps schools improve the quality of play opportunities for children through creative, active, and child-led outdoor experiences.
We believe that play is an essential part of childhood and supports children’s physical health, emotional wellbeing, social development, creativity, and confidence. Through our OPAL journey, we are committed to creating exciting, inclusive, and engaging playtimes where every child can explore, imagine, take appropriate risks, and have fun together.
